For this subject, the first chapter of it is BUSINESS DRIVEN TECHNOLOGY. through this chapter we will study about the information technology role's in business. As we know,information technology is everywhere in business.How IT impact on business nowadays? since IT is everywhere, most operation in business now using IT.  Management Information System (MIS) is a business function just as marketing, finance, operation and human resources to solve business problems. to undestand what is MIS, we must understand what is the basic terms in IT.

 

DATA is the characteristics of an event and INFORMATION convert data in meaningful and useful context and BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE refers to applications and technologies that are used.
